Welcome to the 2018 Baseball/Softball Season!
St. Paul Park Athletic Association (SPPAA) is a volunteer-based organization that supports our community to provide athletics for children in St. Paul Park. We, as the board, are dedicated to providing a positive experience for the families that register to participate in our sports.
New this year: DIBS shifts.
In order for SPPAA to sustain funding, keep registration fees low, and provide the best experience for our kids, we need volunteers to support events and teams throughout the season. Therefore, we are asking each registered family to complete 2 hours of volunteer time, per family, by September 1, 2018. If the 2 hours are not completed by September 1, a $15 fee will be charged. There will be many different opportunities to obtain your hours, and everything will be available online. Some volunteer opportunities include: coaching, serving as a member of the board, batting cage clean up, indoor practices, fundraising events, Heritage Days parade, etc.
Surrounding Athletic Associations already utilize the DIBS process, knowing that volunteers are what keep the programs alive and thriving.
Also new in 2018, all registrations must be completed online. We will no longer be accepting paper applications.
